Position Description
Counselors are responsible for the therapeutic needs and continuum of clinical care for their clients. Clinical responsibilities include individual therapy, family sessions, group sessions, documenting all services, attending treatment team meetings, and working closely with the clinical director.
Position Responsibilities
- Provide quality counseling services that are in accordance with agency, state, and professional standards
- Complete clinical documentation in a timely manner
- Participate in staff meetings and in-service training
- Coordinate with other staff and the clinical director
- Communicate with community partners to advocate for client needs
Minimum Qualifications
- Independent or provisional license in counseling, social work, or a related field
- Commitment to serving others
- Strong sense of personal and professional integrity
- Ability to work well with others
- Positive, flexible, and solution-focused attitude
- Completion of a successful criminal background check

Pay
Part-time: Varies
Full-time: $40,000.00 – $52,000.00 per year

Position Description
Parsons Counseling & Play Therapy Center is seeking a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner to provide services for children, teens, and adults in an outpatient setting. Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioners perform evaluations, determine diagnosis and provide treatment to clients with depression, anxiety, ADHD, Autism, and other issues. Functions as a consultant to other clinical team members. Participates with clinical staff to discuss and review medical treatment plans as time permits. Part-time position, one day per week currently available with potential to grow to multiple days per week.
Position Responsibilities
- Establish open lines of communication for individuals with mental or emotional issues
- Collaborate with treatment providers and placement agencies
- Assess and prescribe medication for new and existing clients.
- Develop individual treatment plans based upon assessment data.
- Provide therapeutic interventions as necessary.
- Maintain timely documentation of services in compliance with the center’s policies and compliance standards.
- Suggest treatment plan changes, including medication recommendations, for clients who are not improving as expected.
- Participate in staffing meetings as needed.
Minimum Qualifications
- Kentucky-licensed psychiatric nurse practitioner
- DEA license (required)
- Prior experience providing treatment to those with a mental illness diagnosis

Pay
Part-time: $50 to $60 per hour or a negotiated contract rate
