At Parsons Counseling, we believe that everyone deserves a life worth living. Our Master Your Mood group is a structured, supportive environment where we move away from self-criticism and toward practical, life-changing skills.
What is DBT?
Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) is an evidence-based approach designed to help people who experience emotions very intensely. Rather than just talking about problems, this group focuses on active skill-building. We focus on the four essential pillars of DBT:

Mindfulness: Learning to stay grounded in the present moment without judgment.

Distress Tolerance: Practical techniques to get through a crisis without making the situation worse.

Emotion Regulation: Understanding why you feel the way you do and reducing your emotional vulnerability.

Interpersonal Effectiveness: Learning how to ask for what you need and set healthy boundaries while maintaining your self-respect.
Group Details
We’ve designed this group to be accessible, whether you prefer to meet in person or from the comfort of your own home.

Who: Open to all adults (18+).

When: Fridays, 12:00 PM – 1:00 PM (Starting March 27).
