“I am not afraid of storms, for I am learning how to sail my ship.”
― Louisa May Alcott
It is my passion to help clients learn to sail their ships – their lives – with less fear and sadness.
I listen deeply, and use play and creative techniques with adults and children. I’m trained in EMDR – a technique developed to help process trauma. Whether a client’s traumas are big, like a car accident or assault, or smaller, like the normal losses and hurts from childhood, EMDR helps reduce their impact, and puts things in perspective. I work with clients to help them understand and manage their emotions and build their coping skills.
I graduated with a Masters in Mental Health Counseling from EKU, and love to spend time outdoors with my family, whether it’s hiking, gardening, walking or just being.
