“Vulnerability is the birthplace of innovation, creativity, and change.” –Brene Brown
I graduated from the University of Arkansas with a Master’s Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate and am excited to continue to expand my knowledge and strengthen my skills. I have experience working with children and adolescents in both office and school-based settings. The most important thing that I learned when working with children and adolescents is to never underestimate how resilient they are. I am very passionate about empowering my clients and ensuring they feel heard. My professional interests include play therapy, body image issues, grief/loss, anxiety, depression, attachment, and trauma.
I grew up in Dallas, Texas and recently moved to Kentucky. I completed my undergraduate degree at Oklahoma State University and am an OSU Cowboys fan through and through, Go Pokes! I love board games and trying out new crafts/projects. Most of my free time is spent playing with my two dogs, watching mystery/thriller movies, and finding new restaurants to try!
