Insurance & Payment

Affordable counseling is important to Parsons Counseling & Play Therapy Center.  We are currently credentialed with many insurance companies in order to provide you counseling with your insurance benefits.  If you do not see your insurance company listed below, please call to inquire if we can become credentialed with your insurance company so we may offer you counseling services.  It is our goal to accept all insurance companies so you can use your insurance plan benefits.  After all, you pay for the premiums and we understand that you want to use your insurance to obtain services.

Fees are adjusted for inflation as the need arises and payment of the fee and co-pays are due at time of service unless we make other arrangements.

No Insurance? High Deductibles. No Problem.

We offer a cash rate for clients with no insurance or high deductibles to see a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate for $60 per hour session.

We also accept Health Savings Account cards.

When Using Your Insurance

Most people who have benefits want to use it but there are also risks involved.  If your insurance company pays the bill they may verbally review with clinician or request documents such as diagnosis, progress notes, and a treatment plan. They may determine that treatment is not “medically necessary” and decline to pay benefits for therapy sessions. Also, when you choose to utilize your insurance benefits, your therapy information becomes part of your permanent insurance record.

Payment Options

For your convenience, we now offer the option of putting a debit or credit card on file to be charged for each session.  This is extremely useful for children who are being seen at school or who may have someone other than a parent bringing them to a session.  Please download the form below and email to, bring to the office or mail to our PO Box listed at the bottom of the form.
