Content Description:
In this presentation, participants will learn about the principles of Gestalt Play Therapy and how it can be used to facilitate healing through accessing the subconscious. Through a combination of instruction, hands-on, and experiential exercises, participants will gain a deeper understanding of how to incorporate EFT, BLS, and mindfulness techniques after expressive art interventions to promote insight, self-awareness, and healing in clients. Participants will learn new art interventions that the presenter created that incorporate mindfulness and BLS which assist with grounding and instilling a positive belief about the client’s experiences. The presenter will teach the participants how to use these techniques with their clients in future sessions. By the end of the presentation, participants will have gained new insights and practical tools for incorporating Gestalt Play Therapy into their counseling practice to promote healing through the subconscious.
