Empowering Providers and Parents Working with Neurodivergent Children, Teens, and Young Adults

Are you looking to gain a deeper understanding of neurodivergent children and adolescents? Do you want to learn practical strategies for supporting and empowering neurodivergent youth? Then the Empowering Providers and Parents working with Neurodivergent Children, Teens, and Young Adults conference is for you!

This is an opportunity for Targeted Case Managers, Counselors, Teachers, Parents and other professionals to gain valuable information along with practical tools to start using immediately. Join us on September 14, 2023, for a one-day conference designed to empower providers and parents working with neurodivergent children, teens, and young adults. The conference will feature a dynamic line-up of speakers, including Lisa Parsons, Dr. Jeffrey Parsons, Elizabeth Miller, Charlette Verkamp, and Elaine Lewis.

The conference will start with a registration session, where attendees can enjoy donuts, fruit, and juice/coffee/tea.

Sessions include:

  • “Celebrating Neurodiversity: Working with and Supporting Neurodivergent Children”
  • “Psychiatric Medication”
  • “5 Techniques for Parenting Neurodivergent Children”
  • “Navigating Pornography and Gaming Addiction in Neurodivergent Youth”
  • “Bridging the Gap: A Comprehensive Guide to Autism Resources for Parents, Case Managers, and Mental Health Practitioners” will be presented with resources and as a panel discussion featuring Lisa Parsons, Elizabeth Jarrell, and Elaine Lewis

 

At the conference, you will have the opportunity to network with other professionals and parents, learn about the latest research and best practices, and participate in interactive exercises that will deepen your understanding of neurodivergent youth.  Early Bird Registration Cost is $80 until August 31, 2023.  September 1, 2023 cost will be $120.  This is a great opportunity to gain 6.25 CE.

We’re also offering a $25 “community registration” for those that would like to attend, but do not need continuing education credits or a certificate of completion.
